Pomeroy Inn & Suites Chetwynd

Very comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. Perfect for a family vacation with our two boys.

It's was clean, newly renovated, friednly and professional staff. It has a gym and pool with slides. My room had a kitchenette with a full-size stove and fridge, and also cooking stuff. Ecerything was good other than warm breakfast time as it starts from 6 am but I had to leave at 5:30.

All places start with a five star and drop from there. The lacking star here is for the room layout and breakfast. The comfy chair/ end table and desk/ chair should switch positions. It is a toss up whether the chair should be a love seat as well. I liked the chair, but given my size the chair was a bit tight. It was actually helpful for using my laptop but on the uncomfortable side for relaxing. Otherwise, I had a wonderful single room with King sized bed, double jacuzzi tub, side chamber toilet, and all the other necessities. It really was nicely setup, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it. As for breakfast, rather slim pickings, and a generic spread at that. Better fruit options would be nice as well as having some bacon or sausages. The coffee could use a revamp and a proper cream container instead of the creamer cups that you peel the lid off of. There should also be more than eight brought at a time with such a busy dining room. Overall though, in the category of small town hotels and work travel accommodations, the Pomeroy Chetwynd is my favorite and is becoming home away from home. P.s. The staff are excellent, polite, and accommodating.

Sheryl went above and beyond during our check-in. This was my first time visiting Chetwynd, and she kindly shared recommendations on where to go, which made the experience even better. The following day, Jed at the front desk was just as wonderful, so pleasant, helpful with all my questions, and made sure I was able to access and enjoy the hotel’s amenities. Both of them truly made our stay smooth and welcoming. Excellent service all around!

Stayed here for 2 months on floor 3 in the kitchenette style rooms. This stay was great, the cleaners to a great job keeping everything very clean. Laundry machines The hot breakfast is awesome & very convenient. The lady does such a good job with cooking and baking the muffins. There’s a solid gym & hot tub and pool which is great after a long day of work. This place is 10/10. It has everything you need. A home away from home. Would come back if I have to work there again !!

Stayed here maybe 3 or 4 times, everything is pretty decent, however in 2 of our rooms, the bathrooms doors didn’t latch properly, and the bathroom fans were out of order.

Lovely place, clean, friendly staff. Gail, who does the breakfast, is amazing. She tries her best to make everything from scratch. You will not find a better 'free' breakfast at any hotel. Gail is a delight to chat with. I dearly hope that when she retires that they hire someone who will follow in her footsteps. It sets the Pomeroy head and shoulders above any other accommodations in the area.

Although it's an older hotel we found it to be immaculately clean, the service was excellent and all the little extras were wonderful! We had a fireplace in our suite which made it very comfortable and a little kitchenette with everything you need. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! The lobby was large and accommodating with a fireplace also, coffee was out at all times, and there was a spot for using the computer and sending correspondence. There was no issue with bringing our dog in who was traveling with us. We will definitely stop in again when we find ourselves in the area
